I very rarely listen to anyone new. Honest. I suck.
But I don’t. Friends recommend music, I politely say ‘oh, I’ve got to check _______ out’ and promptly let the idea slip out my other ear.
But…occassionally, I’m struck. Usually I have to be struck immediately…other times, I have to be coaxed into it.
Amy Winehouse. She has coaxed me into it. So far, I love her songs, love her look, love her deal. I look into her eyes and I think to myself, ‘this crazy bitch is someone I can get behind’.
