What am I doing with a blog?

Awww…heck. I dunno.

How can I believe in God when just last week I got my tongue caught in the roller of an electric typewriter? August 17, 2006

– Woody Allen

I found this idea over here at a blog I’ve been checking out occassionally.

Essentially, the deal is to search through random quotes over in this in this pile, find 5 quotes that reflect who you are and/or what you believe and post ’em. Like this:

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

“To be conscious that you are ignorant is a great step to knowledge.” – Benjamin Disraeli

“Honest differences are often a healthy sign of progress.” – Mahatma Gandhi

“When you feel in your gut what you are and then dynamically pursue it -don’t back down and don’t give up- then you’re going to mystify a lot of folks.” – Bob Dylan

“If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.” – Mark Twain

“Understand that the right to choose your own path is a sacred privilege. Use it. Dwell in possiblity.” – Oprah Winfrey

and, as an extra throw in because I think it’s particularly relevant for our time:

“Thanks to TV and for the convenience of TV, you can only be one of two kinds of human beings, either a liberal or a conservative.” – Kurt Vonnegut

…you might as well include the internet

What nights do you work? When I dropped off my keys it was just that one dude, and his son, apparently. I was gonna say hello to you, and I got a CD for Sarah Joy too.

I’m on Tuesdays, but that’s going to change once school starts. Sad that I missed ya. Are you sticking around for awhile, or are you Quebec bound?

I’ll be gone in a few days. There was a fuckup with my passport/birth certificate situation that I have to sort out. I still have to drop off that CD anyway.

I’ll be there on Sunday. I forgot that last night.

Meg’s got a caberet she’s been doing live after the last show lets out. I haven’t been yet (I’m going tonight ’cause it’s the last night) but it sounds kinda cool.
